Dreamin' of HP Pavillion Laptop

Up to now I am still dreamin' of owning this HP Pavillion laptop next year. I have been canvassing laptops in Greenhills Shopping Center every time I had the chance to go there. Race and I was able to go to different shops there and even testing some few laptops like the Compac Presario which the prices are reasonable enough. My bestfriend Race also wanted to own one so we are keeping our fingers crossed about it. We still need to save some moolah.

Fashionable Leggings

I reckon that fashion just keeps on coming back from time to time only with a twist. Designers would come up with a new version of the clothes or fashion way back in the 70’s, 80’s or any era. I remember wearing leggings in the 80’s matching with a long shirt with big shoulder padding that we I look like a football player.. lol. And no to forget the hair fashion, the teased hair bangs sprayed with aqua net. Wow, every time I look at my old pictures back then, can’t help but to laugh.

Just love browsing online at my favorite US stores but being from a different country it hinders me from ordering online. The reason for this is the cost of the shipping maybe too expensive. Plus size women most often than not are being ridiculed for being heavy and big. I am not hypocrite to say that I don’t look at them or give some side comments esp. when I saw too big and heavy women. It’s always fun to see models in the catwalk strutting with designer clothes on them. I always thought that those clothes would only look great on them bec. they are models but when I will wear it I know for sure it’s not flattering. Have you noticed that models are getting thinner ever?

Are they all starving themselves or taking Orovo detox to make their body look like that? Sometimes it’s alarming and become unsightly to see too skinny models in the catwalk. I also read somewhere that there have been some debates at the fashion industry about this skinny models issue.

I love Robinson's mall esp. in Ortigas and with this sale I am really going out probably on Sunday the 14th to catch on some sales.

I am the type of a person who loves carrying a not so big bag for I always want to carry lots of stuff in it especially when I go out malling, meeting a friend or whatever. I just couldn't find tiny bag to carry all my abubots. My Divisoria Christmas Shopping

I have been meaning to go Christmas shopping at the end of November but got too tied up with so many online and offline duties plus waiting for my sister's list for her shopping as well. Anyway, I went to Divisoria with a family friend last Wednesday (Dec. 3) and we arrived there about 12 noon already as we left the house a bit late already. Our 1st stop is at the 168 Mall and I was overwhelmed with all the products that I can actually buy. Bought 2 blouses for myself at Juliana store and gifts for my relatives. Gosh they really have lots of customers bec. they sell blouses (casual or formal) at a cheaper prices compared to the malls.

And here at Divisoria you can buy lots of goodies from clothes, electronics etc. I was able to buy lots and got so tired afterward. There are many people who flocked in the afternoon that even I had a hard time looking for the exit signs. Got home at 9 pm already hungry and with tired legs. Yay, its tiring but so fun to shop!

My Sunday Greenhills Shopping

I was suppose to go to Greenhills after lunch last Sunday but it was rescheduled because around lunch time, I was so excited to watch the boxing fight of Manny Pacquaio and Oscar dela Hoya online via the live streaming on the net. Thanks to that bec. we had he chance to know who will win and indeed our own Pacman brought the Golden boy down. After watching the fight online (eventhuogh it was a slow connection) I'm still satisfied so we waited it to be shown on our local TV. It was a good fight.

Anyway, I went out at around 3 pm already and there was a traffic already heading towards Greenhills area. As usual I strolled the tiangge and look for some good stuff to buy. I was able to buy myself a blouse which is on sale, 2 shoes from Shoe Box and a pair of brown skinny jeans. Hahaha all I got was for myself bec. I am meaning to buy shoes for the longest time.

I also purchased some CDRs and DVDs that I will sell here at my store and I also passed by the Crumpler camera bag again. I also looked for some laptops bec. that is my next projetc, wish I can buy one next year. I am eyeing HP pavillion but if my budget will not permit, I will just settle for Sony Vaio or Compacq Presario. I enjoyed it eventhough I was alone shopping.

Black Friday Death at Wal Mart

I had a lot of relatives and couple of friends in the US, who celebrated Thanksgiving and shopped at to get great deals and discounts. It is their yearly routine and they really save for this big shopping day. And who would not go out and shop when you can buy HP laptops as low as $400 and other products are being slashed off their prices.

I was reading news and stories over today at CNN and their Special Report about "Black Friday turns tragic for Wal-Mart" It was so sad to know that a Wal Mart employee named Jdimytai Damour, died when he was knocked down by hundreds of rushing early shoppers of Black Friday Shopping. Imagine tumbled down my mad hungry shoppers? Yay that is so scary.!

I also saw some Black Friday Stampede videos over at You Tube and sometimes getting a great discount over a product is not worth it when you get hurt.

Charice Pempengco Performs at Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 2008

There's no doubt that our very own Charice Pempengco is really going places, making waves in the US again after her much publicized performance at Celine Dion's concert. Now she was invited to sing at the US's Thanksgiving Parade 2008 on board Macy's float. I am sure every Filipino who wactched the Thanksgiving Parade in the US are also very proud of her.

If you also remember she appeared Oprah Winfrey show few months ago and sung with Celine Dion on her concert. Such great achievements for a little Pinay who wished to sing with her idol and now her dreams came through. I hope she can sing with Mariah Carey in the future. Busiest Months

Yay, Christmas is coming, 29 more days to be exact and I have not yet started my shopping. I earlier planned on going to Divisoria yesterday or today but I am still waiting for my sister’s money bec. she is also asking me to shop for her. Hopefully by next week I can shop already bec. for sure people will be flocking there to get some real deal and bargains. I am just excited to go here to find gifts for my godchildren and for my family. I have yet to finish the list this week so it will be easier for me to choose.

You know what, months of Nov. till January are the busiest and the most expensive months for me. Why? Nov. is my birthday month and this year I gave myself a Canon camera lens and some personal stuff. December is so obvious. Come January is the payment for gov’t and municipal taxes of my small business. Aside from that it’s the annual registration of our vehicle and insurance so we are always on the look out for cheap auto insurance to save a little. After those months, it’s my time to breath from all the spending and time for me to work hard again. It’s a never ending cycle.

I have been going to the malls again after many months of controlling myself to shop. You know recent days have been tough for most of us so it is just best to save. Anyway, just bought my new camera lens and cam bag last week as a birthday gift for myself and now I am smiling from ear to ear. Christmas Gifts Ideas

As of this writing only 33 days before Christmas and have you already made your Christmas shopping list this year? I already started mine the other night but I haven't finished it yet. I still need to think what gift is suited for that person and oh boy I many in my list. I am planning to go to Divisoria next week and at the mall on the 1st week of Dec. to buy Christmas gifts. You know I hate Christmas rush, in those days, you can't think clearly what to give and aside form that the prices are already marked up by the stores bec. they know you'll buy it anyway bec. you are in a hurry.

I remember buying a gift Dec. 24th and that is a bad bad idea but at least I have something for that person. Any Christmas Gifts Ideas that probably can help you think of what to give this year.

1. Techie Gadgets- If you have saved enough to buy your nephew or whoever, for sure they will love those ipods, cellphone, or just even tech accessories that you can give. You know, almost all people have gadgets and I am quite confident they'd appreciate this kind of gift.

2. Leather bags and Accessories-if you have an office mate who love bags, this one is a perfect choice. You can also give one to your boss, a special client or any woman whom you think loves bag (i do!)
3. Personalized Accessories -this is great for friends or officemates. but Oh dear just stay away from MUGS... aren't you had enough of those? lol
~~ If you are a digital scrapbooker like me, you can either make a family calendar with your photos that you can give to your mom, aunt etc. There are calendar templates that you can buy on scrapbooking stores where you need only to put photos in it and it is already ready for printing.

4. Toys- Kids love toys and they much preferred it over money. Think of something that will stimulate kid's creativity and mind esp. if their age is about 2-5. Bigger kids however love dolls (Barbie dolls) as for lil' girls. A barbie doll house will surely amaze and excite lil' girls. Speaking of barbie dolls, my 4 yr. old niece wants to own another one and this time she wants a Barbie Mermaid, gosh.~For lil boys, I am suer they'd love RC toys like cars, or those with race tracks like those of Hotwheels. I remember my sis Joy sent my nephews Hotwheel cars and race track and oh boy they liked it.
