My niece and I are at the mall yesterday to buy some airline tickets and after that we decided to go for a mini shopping and window shopping as well. We passed by at the groudn floor of Robinson's and there is Up to 50% off at Colours.

Just in case you are heading there, find this sign and you'll get good deals. You know, department stores put a lot of sale items esp. if it is not a shopping season to attract more customers and to get rid of their old stocks. Just be careful in choosing the items, looks for missing button, a hole and other damage so you'll not end up returning it.

Make Up Guru

I regard my co Bebot GLO as a make up guru hehe. She has been showing us samples of makeup on her flickr account and that's where I learned about Everyday minerals, ELF and Nyx. She is also our make up shopper and enabler, and eventhough I am not wearing make up all the time, I still ordered some. I guess next time she'll be encouraging us to buy eye cream so that we'll have a total stuff for our face.

The Everyday Minerals Sample Kit that I ordered online arrived on Thurs. and it took about 14 days to arrive, which is understandable bec. its overseas. I was so excited to open the small packet and inside were cute little sample bottles of EM.
It consists of
3 foundation (2 olive medium and golden medium),
1 blusher (walkee talkee), and
1 concealer.

I tried the foundation and the blusher this morning and I am amazed with the smooth finish that it gives, much much better than the flaky Maybelline powder foundation that i have. I was excited to test it, i tried the blusher but it looks a bit pale on me, i think i should put more next time. I will also take pics of me soon with make up on, can't wait!!

File Extension Ppt

Microsoft Office users are surely familiar with Power Point as it is often used to make presentations and other layouts that we often see in school, business and other public presentations. It is a very powerful tool that Microsoft included in their Office edition. I guess it always come in package when you install your MS Office. The file name associated with it is the .ppt file extension or the file extension PPT which is used in MS Powerpoint 2003 and the earlier versions. Just in case you didn’t know, the new version now has the .pptx file extension.

You can however save it as .pps and it has believed that it will not harm your file and can still be open. However, as much as we wanted to there are time that these file extension PPT can’t be open, probably bec. of of the system registry that has been corrupted. These file extension PPT can still be open provided that you run a driver’s update that will solve the error.

If you are having problems opening your file extension PPT, then you can download a Drivers Updating Software, that can fix your windows registry. You know over time we install and uninstall programs w/o us knowing that it can affect our windows registry and later on our computer slows down and much worse it freezes and will not read some file extension. A clean registry will do the trick.

My Gadget Wish List

Oh my I have a new set of wish list this year as you can see. I have bought some on my last year's list and I am really keeping my fingers that I can buy these this year!!
Here's my new list:
1. HP Pavillion laptop.. i guess you have been reading this for quite a while now, i really really want one so I can still be online when I am at home. Love HP since I have a desktop already.
2. External Hardrive. I am into digital photography and digital scrapbooking and that requires a lot of disc space. My 160 gb is almost full to accommodate them all. I actually deleted some of the photos and old layouts that I have so that it will not be full. EHD will definitely help me.
3. Memory card- My pc has only 2GB of memory and that is not enough to make my pc work fast as much I wanted to. I always use Photoshop application and also open other programs and surf the net at the same time. The current system memory sometimes is not enough that's why there are times it's kinda slow.
4. Canon EW78d Lenshood for my 18-200mm lens. I need this to protect my precious lens from bumps and stray lights. I already saw some good deals online and i hope before Holy week I can buy this.
5. HOYA 72mm UV filter - for my camera as well.

Wish...

Wish I can go shopping again any time but with financial crisis going on... I need to tighten my belt a little bit. Aside from that I am really saving money for an upcoming overseas vacation,, i also want to buy a laptop, accessories for my digital camera and more... I can't just spend money bec. we still need to renew car insurance this year so it's a must for us to get auto insurance quotes ahead. I hope I can arrange all the bills coming and hoping next time I can once again shop endlessly.
